One of the most controversial actors today, Gerald Anderson was spotted together with Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez at the Skechers Performance Run 2019 together with other celebrities. They both attended the event last August 11, Sunday as they participated in the Walkathon event being one of the Skechers PH ambassadors.
It can be remembered that Gerald Anderson together with Kapamilya actresses Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto had made rounds in different social media platforms because of the alleged cheating and betrayal accusations they throw from one celebrity to another.
The photo of Gerald and Bea together in one picture went viral on different social media platforms and it elicited comments from many netizens. Some netizens commented negatively while some tries to be as positive as possible. There were some netizens who even mentioned the older brother of Sanya, Jak Roberto because they assumed that Sanya Lopez will be the next woman in Gerald’s life. There were also some people who said that people should not think negatively as there was nothing wrong that Gerald has been done to Sanya. But there were people who were very sure that Gerald would have courted Sanya if she would become her on-screen partner or leading-lady in some projects.

He was known to be the Teen Third Big Placer on the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition. He was discovered by Joross Gamboa when he performed in his hometown. Joross introduced him to his manager, Jhun Reyes, who brought him to ABS-CBN for the first season of PBB Teen Edition. He was also dubbed as the "Prince of Philippine Movies and Television" twice and "Most Popular Loveteam" thrice with a former on-screen partner, Kim Chiu at the Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Awards.
