Ryza Cenon Tries The Iconic DARNA Shout In front of Boy Abunda

The role of Darna is still open for the public as well as the actresses in the show business to try and audition for the iconic character. The superheroine role had been portrayed by some of the most amazing actresses in the industry including Rosa del Rosario, Liza Moreno, Eva Montes, Gina Pareño, Vilma Santos, Lorna Tolentino, Rio Locsin, Sharon Cuneta, Nanette Medved, Anjanette Abayari, Regine Velasquez, Angel Locsin, and Marian Rivera.

It was just recently as several famous personalities shared their audition videos even their videos reenacting the famous lines on the iconic film surfacing in different social media platforms. Some of the popular actresses who portrayed the superheroine role before had even revealed about their personal bets on the said remake of the film.

Even the “The General’s Actress” Ryza Cenon had her own version of the “Darna shout”. It was her interview with Boy Abunda in the “Tonight With Boy Abunda” program where she was first seen to do the reenactment of the role. The veteran and renowned host Boy Abunda finally asked the famous “Fast Talk” to Ryza Cenon. When she was asked to choose between Darna and Valentina, she replied to him with a “Darna shout” imitating the famous line. A lot of her fans and supporters applauded her because of that. Many of her supporters wanted the actress to be the next actress to portray the role of Darna.

Ryza Cenon better known as Rhiza Ann Cenon Simbulan in real life is a 31-year-old m actress, dancer, model and painter. It was in 2004 when she became the Ultimate Female Survivor of the second season of StarStruck of the GMA Network. She had been part of several shows like “Darna”, “Ay, Robot!”, “Majika”, “Fantastikids”, “Fantastic Man”, “Joaquin Bordado”, “Buena Familia”, and “Alyas Robin Hood”. She was also tagged as the “Primera Kontrabida of the Philippines" in 2017.

On April 12, 2018, she signed an exclusive contract with the ABS-CBN network giving her a chance to be part of the popular television series “FPJ’s: Ang Probinsiyano” as Aubrey and in “The General’s Daughter” as Jessie de Leon.
